WHO WE ARE
KosherMyB&B is a B&B kitchen kashering & kosher concierge service, run by two energetic young men who believe in delivering excellent kosher experiences in their adopted home city of Jerusalem. They have developed good relationships with Jerusalem vacation rental companies, who appreciate their professional and efficient B&B kashering services.

Chayim Ashkenazi
Chayim Ashkenazi worked for 10 years in the Jewish community of Turkey as a counselor and event planner, contributing to the organization of Shabbatons, educational seminars, and summer camps. After graduating, he came to Israel to study at Yeshivat Ohr Sameach. In 2014, he made Aliyah and continued his Torah learning in various yeshivas such as Emek Learning Center and Mayanot Institute of Jewish Studies while developing his career as a property manager.
Recognizing the growing demand for a kosher kitchen experience in vacation rentals, Chayim founded KasherMyBnb in 2020. Every year, he and his dedicated team assist visitors in having a kosher vacation experience in Israel.

Rabbi Avraam Berti Derofe
Rabbi Avraam Berti Derofe was born in Istanbul,Turkey. He came to Israel at age 19 to study in Yeshivat Etz Hachaim, the flagship Yeshiva of Shalom La'am, founded by Rabbi Yaakov Hillel. After 5 years he studied for 2 years in Beit Midrash Sepharadi and qualified as a Rabbi with Semicha from Rabbi Shlomo Katzin(RoshYeshiva of Midrash Sepharadi). He has worked in Izmir, Turkey, as a Community Rabbi and as a Mashgiach for various international food certification organizations, including the Orthodox Union (OU), Badatz Bet Yosef, Chatam Sofer Petach Tikva and Chatam Sofer Bnei Brak. Now in Israel, he has been working as a Mashgiach for the OU for 5 years, as well as supervising the kashering of kitchens in Jerusalem.
